Browns Town wrote: "RăvNsfăn ®" wrote in message news:0HYug.4238 Yeah... i should have read this post first before the other. Has the answer about you and camp. I'm glad you'll get a fix to tide you over. last offseason was bad but this one has been the worst for just nothing coming out of the NFL. Who isn't tired of hearing about that asshole in Pittsburgh... sloooooooow offseason. Well, with our slew of free agents, I think our offseason has been pretty upbeat and moving along nicely. The Cavs playing a few playoff games helped pass time quicker too. I think there are some decent offseason stories. Will Reggie Bush live up to the hype? Can Herm take the Chiefs to the next level? Larry Johnson ready to take the roll of the NFL's best RB? Will this be the year Peyton gets over the hump and can they do it without the Edge? Who will be the next Bengal to get arrested? Does McNair have enough in the tank to help get the Ravens back on the right track and if not, how soon will Billick's fire watch start? Keyshawn to the Panthers. TO vs Tuna Can Phil Rivers step in for Brees and be effective? Can Randy Moss return to glory or will he bitch his way out of Oakland? Can Culpepper shake off that horrible year and get back to what he was? I could go on and on, :-) I agree they are all great questions... and I could add a dozen more. I don't know what your local media is like covering the Browns in the offseason, obviously this is an active one for the Btowns, but here... unless there is an arrest, we don't read or hear a thing until camp. There were 5 murders in Baltimore overnight however. In that vein I suppose no Ravens news is good news. I was hoping we would at least have a fairly difinitive answer as to who the new commisioner was going to be. Ehh, you hear little blurbs here and there but really, what can they say in July that hasn't been said? I vote Modell for the new commish! LOL... I hear ya. I heard today that ESPN and a few others are feeling very good about the Ravens SB chances this year with McNair at the helm. This kind of "on paper" preseason speculation from those who should know better, you know "experts", just gets me. They totally dismiss the fact that we have not upgraded our offensive line, lost some quality DB's, etc. Perhaps saying nothing is better than saying just anything! This division is gonna be rough this year. The Ravens did get better, imo. How much? I dunno. Not enough to win the division, I don't think, but stranger things have happened. I mean, Cinci won the division last year. The Bengals. Come on. End of days is near. Even a blind squirrel right? Nah... the Bengals are building well and Marvin is a fine HC. If T.O. Jr. doesn't upset the clubhouse they shouldn't miss a beat contending with ****burgh. The Browns have an impressive future QB in D. Anderson. I was so impressed by him in Ravens camp. When his time comes I'd favor him against Carson or Ben. We lost bigtime letting him slip away. I like most of the moves made this year by the Browns. As it stands though, if all starting QB's in the division get knocked out for the season the ravens have an outside chance... aside from a minior miracle in that our OL steps up I figure 5-11 for my ratbirds this season The division is going to be rough. I believe it will be the best in the league if my team shows up at gametime with some goobers (not the edible kind).
