Default PSK-31 signal report format

I have heard RSQ used in place of RST in PSK-31 siganl reports... I
wonder if the Q stands for "quality"--as in IMD level or overdriving
(or not).

It seems like an appropriate modification of the RST format.

I wonder what others think.

Hi Bill,

Yes "Q" is quality and measured in terms of unwanted sideband pairs
visible in the spectrum or waterfall view.
The RSQ reporting table can be found he
http://www.rsq-info.net/RSQ-Reporting-Table.html

The entry page for RSQ is:
www.rsq-info.net
