University for the 2019 HamSCI Workshop, March 22-23. TAPR makers and
shakers, John Ackermann N8UR, George Byrkit K9TRV, Scotty Cowling WA2DFI
and Tom McDermott N5EG, were in attendance with John, Scotty and Tom making
presentations, while George recorded the proceedings and handled the sound
and video for the workshop

antenna: a Loop on Ground (LoG) receive-only antenna as described by Matt
Roberts, KK5JY: 60 feet of insulated wire stapled to the earth in a square
configuration (15 feet per side).

Antenna Days of the Indian Ocean (IEEE RADIO 2019), the international
conference was held in Reunion Island September 23-26, 2019. YT7MPB had a
tutorial on amateur radio communications there, and wanted to include even
more practical demo and display than before.
