Default Echolink Audio

Ever since I installed the latest MS upgrades and fixes the echolink
transmit Audio is very weak and noisy. If anybody has the same problem
and maybe a fix for it let me know.

EchoLink uses the windows program sndvol32.exe, it does not have it's
own audio drivers.

Run the Windows Sound Recorder program; record and playback a small
test file. Adjust the soundcard levels until you have good a good
quality recording.

When this works correctly EchoLink will.

Check you do not have more than one program loaded, possibly on
startup, that is using the soundcard. eg. Yahoo, MSN, Paltak etc.

If the Sound Recorder program will not work correctly then you need to
search out and install the latest drivers for your soundcard.
