Has anyone got any experience with using any of the USB connected
soundcards for digital modes.

I'm considering building a black-box for my portable operations
containing a USB-hub, some USB to serial converters and a USB soundcard.
This would reduce the number of loose cables by at least half in my
setup. (who said this was a wireless hobby?)

I will be using the softwares WSJT, Logger32 and Spectogram but may in
the future also be using mixw or others.

The USB serial cards are not so cheap that I can by a few just to test it.
