CU - AZORES ISLANDS, EU-175
Jorge,CT1FMX, Mary,CT1YTS, and J. Vitor,CU3EQ, will use the call CU3F
from Terceira Island (EU-175) working in SSB/CW/RTTY/PSK31 on 80-6m
from Aug 2-9. QSL via CT1FMX, direct or via bureau.

CY0 - SABLE ISLAND, NA-063
The next operation from Sable Island is scheduled for 2009 and is
already announced now to attract more sponsors for this expensive
DXpedition. Operators are still wanted as well. Following OPs already
confirmed their participation: Duane,WV2B (CW/SSB), Rich,AI5P (CW/SSB),
Dick,VE1AI (CW/SSB), and Scott,KA3QLF (RTTY/SSB). CY0ZZ is projected
to hit the airwaves with at least three stations on all bands from
6-160m. The DXpedition website is:

FG - GUADELOUPE, NA-102
David,FG/F1JXQ, will be QRV from Guadeloupe (NA-102) working in SSB
on 10m/6m/2m from 1000-1600 UTC on Aug 4-20. QSLs direct or as eQSL.

FW - WALLIS AND FUTUNA, OC-054
Mike,KM9D, and Jan,KF4TUG, were travelling through the Pacific area
during the last years and now showed up from Nukutapu (OC-054) shortly
before the IOTA Contest last weekend. Their calls are FW0MO (Mike) and
FW0YL (Jan) and they plan to stay there for quite some time.
QSL cards direct via OM2SA or via LotW.

JD1/MT - MINAMI TORISHIMA, OC-073
Alrady announced as JA6GXK/JD1, Masafumi finally became active from
Minami Torishima (OC-073) as JD1BMM. He has already bee spotted on 20m
in RTTY on 14.075 MHz and in CW on 14.050 MHz. See also DXNL 1528.

SV9 - CRETE, EU-015
Marc,ON7SS/OO9O, announced his activity as SV9/OO9O/p during his
holidays from Aug 7-17. QSLs via ON7SS, direct or via bureau.

VP6 - PITCAIRN ISLAND, OC-044
Tom,ZL2HGR, hit the airwaves as VP6TD like announced in DXNL 1517
and intends to stay there until the beginning of september.

VP6AL (OP and QSL route: ZL1UFB) is another call from Pitcairn (OC-044)
enrichening the airwaves for the next six weeks. His name is Al and
he has already been worked in SSB on 20m.

FRANCE, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
TM0FIL is active on the bands between Jul 30 and Aug 12. QSL via F6KPQ.

JAPAN, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
8J1A will be a special event station at the Amateur Radio Festival 2007
and can be worked from Aug 1-26. QSLs via the JARL bureau.

between Aug 1 and Oct 21. QSLs via the JARL bureau as well.

SILENT KEY

Axel Rohrbeck,DL7PR, a very wellknown German DXer passed away on
July 25, at the age of 65. Axel hold his licence since 1969, worked
the 5-Band-DXCC (#86) only two years later, had a Full House DXCC in
SSB/mixed and missed only North Korea (P5) in CW.

Lanny,W5BOS, plans two IOTA activities from Alaska from Aug 2-7.
The first activity as W5BOS/KL7 will take place from an island within
the Semidi Islands (NA-238). The second activity as W5BOS/ALO will take
place from Unavikshak Island. All QSLs via N6AWD.

EU-123, GM, Scottish Coastal Islands: Some members of the Ayr and Kilmarnock
Radio Club (GS0AYR) plan to hit the airwaves with two stations from the
island Ailsa Craig (SCOTIA DI01) on Aug 5. QSLs via GM7OKX.

EU-123, GM, Scottish Coastal Islands: Andre,GM3VLB, intends to activate
five different islands: Eilean Hoan, Rabbit Island, Eilean Nan Ron,
Stroma Island and Neave Island (EU-005) during the end of July and the

QSL via 9M2TO: Tex,9M2TO, has a new post office box in Penang:
Izumo, PO Box 125, GPO 10710, Penang, Malaysia. This address is valid
for all QSLs for 9M4SDX, 9M4DXX and 9M4SIX. QSLs for these stations are
also available via the 9M2 QSL bureau when sending via 9M2TO.
QSLs to his own call are still managed by JA0DMV, direct or via bureau.

QSL via IT9DAA: Corrado,IT9DAA, states that he is NOT the QSL manager for
YV1CTE, YV1RDX and YY1JGT anymore!
