GD - ISLE OF MAN, EU-116
Mark,M0MJH, Kevan,2E0WMG, Matt,2E0XIS, and James,M0ZZO, will show up as
MD0MJH, 2D0WMG, 2D0XIS, MD0ZZO and using the clubcalls GT3CO and GT7SRA
from the Isle of Man (EU-116) between Apr 26 and May 1. They will work
in SSB mainly on 80/40/20m and on the high bands if conditions permit.
160m might be possible as well if they find enough space for an aerial.

HB0 - LIECHTENSTEIN
Kasimir,DL2SBY, and Georg,DF1SR, will be active from Liechtenstein as
HB0/DL2SBY in SSB/CW/RTTY on 80m-10m and as HB0/DF1SR via EME on 13cm
and 23cm from Apr 24 until May 4. Their equipment includes a TS-2000,
FT-900AT, an Ameritron AL811 amplifier, a HF9V, a vertical for 30m/40m,
a Spiderbeam and for VHF a FT-726R, a 3.7m dish and amplifiers for both
bands. QSLs direct or via bureau to their homecalls.

S7 - SEYCHELLES, AF-025
Davide,IZ3EFL, is signing S79DF from the Aldabra atoll (AF-025) for
the next year. Momentarily he is working only on 20m but promised to
appear also on the other bands soon.
His QSL manager IV3TDM confirms either direct or via the bureau.

TI - COSTA RICA
Orrin,TI6/K9KEJ (QSL direct via EB7DX), and Don,TI6/W9YOR (via W9YOR),
are expected to show up in SSB on 40m/20m/17m from Apr 28 until May 1.

VK9/MR - MELLISH REEF, OC-072
VK9GMW logged 20.058 QSOs (including 2.028 QSOs on 160m) and went QRT
on Apr 13 around 0400 UTC. QSL via HA7RY.

YV - VENEZUELA
The "Asociation de Radioaficionados de Venezuela" will activate the
callsign 4M5M in SSB, CW and digital modes on 160m-10m during the
upcoming "International Marconi Day" on Apr 25.
QSL via W4SO who acts as a "maildrop" only.

ZS8 - MARION ISLAND, AF-021
ZS8T operated by Petrus,ZS6GCM, went QRT and the data of the few QSOs
he made will be uploaded to the LoTW. His QSL manager is LZ3HI.

PACIFIC TRIP
Hrane,YT1AD, and David,K3LP, are planning two major DXpeditions to
Tokelau (ZK3), Central Kiribati (T31) and Conway Reef (3D2C) for 2010
and 2011. To prepare the logistics for these expeditions Hrane and his
friend Miki (YU1DW) are visiting a few islands in the region right now.

TURKEY, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
TC57A will be active again from Apr 22-25. This station shall remember
the battle of Gallipoli (which took place in the Dardanelles in 1915)
and the 57th infantry regiment ("Alay") of the "Fifth Turkish Army".

USA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
Members of the clubs "Sonoma County ACS" and "Sonoma Mountain Repeater
Society" (SMRS) are going to activate the special event station K6P on
14260, 7260, 7050 and 146910 kHz during the "Butter&Egg Day Parade" in
Petaluma on Apr 25 from 1600-2300 UTC.

SILENT KEY
Holger,DL1COP, writes that Franz,DL3PS/HB9EHQ, passed away suddenly and
unexpectedly after suffering a heart attack at the age of 45. Franz was
member of the DARC, USKA, HB9VC and HTC and made several DXpeditions in
the past like LZ/DL3PS (Sofia), TF/DL3PS (Vestmanneyjar Island),
TF/DL3PS (Grimsey Isl), ZS6/DL3PS (Vanderbijlpark), 4X/DL3PS (Ashkelon)
and D44TXS (Cape Verde) during March of this year. Several friends of
Franz will try to confirm all open QSL requests (especially the latest
ones from the D4 DXpedition) with an appropriate remark.

QSL via DJ2VZ: DJ2VZ is living in a nursing home for several years now and
is not able to fulfill his duties as a QSL manager anymore.
His appartment has been closed and all logs were destroyed.
