I know a bloke Stuart who was talking to a Spanish truck driver on CB one
afternoon. He asked what radio it was as it sounded good. He told him an old
President, a 2830 with a power mike and said it was for sale laughing.
he said I'm over there in 2 weeks I will pick it up then.
Stuart obviously forgot all about this, until he was knocked out of bed on
weekday morning at 7am by a Spanish HGV driver wanting to buy the radio. He
had arrived early hours, and asked if anyone knew Stuart having detoured a
good way to get there some one told him.... Had a brew paid up and left with
his radio...
