I fondly remember a day when you could break a pileup by figuring out
where the DX was listening and call just a bit higher. Today, it's a
lost cause - you'll never find the guy he's working among all the
continuous callers.


Of course you can - you just have to listen a bit harder.
And the continuous callers on the wrong freq are not going
to cover you up when you call on the right freq. Things
would be much worse if everyone was listening, and then all
calling on the 'right' freq at the 'right' time!
