CW aficionados G3SXW, Roger, and G3TXF, Nigel, will be operating as
TJ3G from Kribi in Cameroon from approximately Tuesday March 23 until Thursday April 1. Kribi is a port city on the Bight of Biafra, which is located about 129 km (80 miles) south of the capital Douala. This will be a 10-80 meter CW only operation. The likely frequencies will be 3513, 7013, 10113, 14033, 18083, 21033, 24903 and 28033. These frequencies are higher than usual in order to avoid any conflict with 3B9C. Although they will be using the same callsign TJ3G, Roger will be operating the traditional HF bands whilst Nigel will be looking after the WARC bands. QSL via G3TXF. Peter Lemken Berlin -- Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow, what a ride!' |
