IC-735 versus IC-726 - RadioBanter

IC-735 versus IC-726

I am just starting out on HF and have the opportunity to buy an Icom
735 for $295US or an Icom 726 for $275.. Which would you say is the
better deal? 6m would be nice but isn't a necessity. I'd like
something that will last a while. Is there a lot the 735 has that the
726 does not have?
