I'm looking for a listing (by frequency) for all FM broadcast stations in the US. http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/fmq.html I think you have to select at least one search criterion - I'd do it a state at a time. (I'm betting station listings in California won't do you much goodgrin!) It is also possible to download the underlying databases from http://www.fcc.gov/mb/databases/cdbs/ . There are multiple tables, you'll really need some kind of database system like Access or MySQL to make use of these. The tables you need are fm_eng_data and facility. A list for Canada is on http://spectrum.ic.gc.ca/infoback/dgse/dbf/baserad.zip . This is a single .ZIP file that includes AM, FM, and TV. Unzip it in a temporary folder, and use a spreadsheet program to open FMSTATIO.DBF. Years ago, White's Radio Log publised lists such as this, by there appears to be no such publication these days. The FM Atlas (http://members.aol.com/fmatlas/home.html) has pretty much taken over for White's. I don't remember White's as being all that accurate anyway... -- Doug Smith W9WI Pleasant View (Nashville), TN EM66 http://www.w9wi.com |
