Default Drake TR-4CW RF TUNE problem.

Hallo

I got a problem with my drake TR-4CW.
Hopefully someone can help.

It is not very much used.
But suddenly it was not possible by help of the RF tune control to get
maximum noise or signal when it pointed on " 12 o'clock'' +/-. No
resonance.
The problem is on 20 and 10 mtr.
No problem on 80, 40 and 15 mtr.

The problem is not only on receive , but also in transmit mode.
That means I can not use the transc. on 20 and 10 mtr. before this is
solved.

Testpoint "TP" related to ground:
80m: 1.26V DC
40m: - 1.60V DC
20m: 1.26V DC
15m: - 1.16V DC
10m: - 0.8V DC

What do these values tell you?

Thanks for good advise.

Best regards

OZ5ZD, Bent

First try spraying the wafer switch to clean it.
Then report back here and we will see what to do next.
