Default Icom IC 820 " D"

Can anyone advise what the significance of the "D" is with the Icom IC 820,
I know the power level is high power, and the coverage is only 144-146 Mhz
but is there any other variations from say the IC 820 H ?
Would be greatful if anyone can help cheers Keith
