I have a Sony ICF-SW77 (over 10 years old) with an audio problem. Lots of
static (pops and hissing), like from a loose connection, not on the air static. I saw an article describing failed ribbon cables inside the radio. The article mentioned that this was a manufacturing defect and mentioned a repair kit. I'm trying to make sure that I'll be doing the right thing to repair this very expensive radio. Aby help or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, John |
