How to clear a VX-2R memory

Howdy!

Does anyone have any idea how to clear a memory location on the Yaesu
VX-2R? While learning to use mine, I accidentally programmed some
widely scattered memory locations and would like to completely clear
certain, but not all, memory locations from use.
