Default Any Motorola techs in here?

Mate, these groups are inhabited by radio enthusiasts whose interests
don't necessarily begin or end with Amateur radio, CB radio or scanning.

Had I posted with robot-like compliance, I wouldn't have posted the
question at all, since there is no news group for Motorola commercial
equipment. I could use your same logic to not even post it to any of the
amateur radio groups as well.

I think you really do understand why it posted to these groups, it's just
common sense. I wondered before originally posting whether I'd hear from
some pedants, sure enough I did. Oh well, par for the course isn't it...
Some people don't necessarily read whatever groups you feel
are more appropriate, hence cross-posting to a range of radio related
groups.

All I was asking for were the specifications of a piece of radio
equipment, nothing more. But some will never miss an opportunity, no
matter how petty, to have a go at someone over the flimsiest of pretexts.

have look here, http://www.eserviceinfo.com/ there is a lot of Motorola
stuff there,

Thanks for the link Warren, will check it out.

Hello Jasco , I'm going to do something I don't do very often and that is
apologise for jumping to conclusions, I must admit when I read your original
posting I thought, here we go again, some UHf CBer wanting info on a very
high powered Amp, so he can stomp on every one else, for that I do
apologise, in my role as an emergency monitor I get quite a few of the power
heads deliberately interfering with the emergency repeaters which I monitor
daily, I have even had dead set deliberate interference during actual
emergency calls and whilst in contact with the Police Comms Centre, as in,
microphone in one hand and the phone in the other, the Police couldn't
believe what they heard, so I tend to get a bit touchy when it comes to very
high power on UHf CB.

now back to the Amp, I see on the circuit board there is JAS marked in
several places, I'm wondering if this is the manufactures identification, if
so you might get some info from this mob,

Jas Commerical Printers
Products : Printed circuit boards
Address : 38, Bombay Talkies Compound,, Somwari Bazar, N. B. Road, Malad
West,,Mumbai-400064.Maharashtra.
Send : On-Line Trade Inquiry
http://www.easy2source.com/directory..._id=0&Len t=3

I ran a search on the net and came up with that mob, with a bit of luck they
may be the manufactures and should have the info you require, wether the
buggers will give the info is another thing , once again sorry for ****ing
you off,

Cheers,

Warren
