Anyone tell me if it is possible to receive and decode amateur psk on
this h/held ??

You can run AX.25 packet and APRS. That's about it. Nice radio
though.

Thanks for the reply Dick..I cannot rx and decode psk on the hf bands
then ?...I am thinking abt returning to ham radio after a few years qrt
and thought abt the th-f7 to use on vhf/uhf and listening to the hf
bands just to see what is about...

Default Kenwood th-f7

I responded to Ted by private e-mail. I forgot that the TH-F7 is the
same as the TH-D6 in the U.S. I was thinking of the TH-D7A when I
responded. The correct answer is that the TH-F7 cannot decode any
digital modes, but it could of course be used as an ordinary SSB
receiver with a computer soundcard to receive most digital modes as
long as you could obtain an adequate signal on the TH-F7.
