IC-706 MKIIg noise blanker - Page 3

I have a 706 and the "so called" noise blanker severely distorts AM
reception and fails to blank any noise on ssb. If your looking for a rig
with a noise blanker, then purchase a FT-100.

I'm thinking about buying a new 706MKIIg and wonder how the noise
blanker does with ignition noise?
