Default LT-2S transverter power module problem

Hello,

I have LT-2S (first model) not working properly, somebody "repair" power
module and insert some odd power transistors.

There is no information on manual, which original power transistors are
used, so anybody knows, please let me know.

What I found inside is: BLY87A and 2N6080???.

Thanks, Adam

Adam,

I don't have the LT-2s but I do have what I believe are the two major
units inside, the TV28-144 transverter and the PA-1441 amplifier.

The PA-1441 uses a 2N6080 driver and 2N6081 final.

I've put the schematic here of you need it:

Hope this helps.

ps. These units are now surplus to me, so I offer them for sale for
$225 USD.

Default LT-2S transverter power module problem

Hello Wes,

This help a lot, the diagram is alomust the same.
I got the reply from ssb Germany, and they say that the final was 2n4046 or
blw60c.
Both parts obsolete now,

Anyhow, any 25-30w 175mhz transistor will do the job, of course capable AB
class.

Thanks for help,
Adam
