Default HELP: how to eliminate the greeting nag on Yaesu FT-90 ??

I have a new FT-90 compact mobile. I realize some production runs had some
bugs, but this one is without any problems at all, it works very well.

That aside, EVERY time you power the darn thing up, it scrolls an
'advertising nag' and I have to press a button to get the darn thing to
display the current frequency.

The question: Has anyone figured out how to stop it from happening on every
power up??

Thanks in advance,
Pat,

Okay, when all else fails, read the manual to the very last pages...

Sorry about that guys, it's the last thing mentioned in the manual, just
before the menu shortcuts index...

Apologies,
Pat

Pat,

No apologies needed. I looked up your callsign and confirmed you're a guy.
And as guys, we don't read manuals nor stop for directions for that matter,
so I've been told ;-)

Yes, it's in the manual. Simply power up the radio while holding down
the middle button.
