Default portable qrp cw rig

I would like to get one of these rigs. I do not, however, have the time to
build one. I would like a 40m monobander and really like the ten tec. The
elecraft is too expensive as well. Are there other options?

Thanks

Check out http://www.smallwonderlabs.com/ and look at the SW+ series. The
DSW series is nice, too, but a bit more pricey. The SWL stuff is all
good...well designed, high quality parts, and great support.

All the monobanders I know of are kits. You can probably find some
assembled used units or get someone to build it for you...lots of guys
will build it for you, often at no cost...they just like to assemble
kits. Ask on the qrp mail list ) and you'll get plenty
of info.

Usual disclaimer...no financial interest in SWL, etc, etc,etc....

Thanks for the tips. I am new to qrp. Will 2 watts do the trick? I am
limited to longwire antenna.

I think I may go with the small wonders rock-mite. Very qrp and very small.
Easy to build as well.
