However, we do use their equipment... and it has proven to be much more reliable than Weller stuff. I guess you get what you pay for. Not surprising I guess. Looking at some of your solder joints it shows you don't use a Weller, perhaps you should? Clive I thought I was the only one to notice the over-cooked solder blobs. *I do better than that w/ lead-free solder on Rogers PCBs w/ my Weller solder station. *But then, I've been doing it for decades. *And, while some other brands have failed us repeatedly, I've seen only ONE Weller station have to be tossed out. *The way I see it, they're relatively inexpensive AND they last.
