I checked the RS web site they no longer list any Ham Radio transceivers
just accessories.
I saw one for sale at R&L Electronics back about 6 months ago for around
$150.00. They are out
there mainly being used by CB Freebanders on the low end of 10 meter. They
orignally sold around
$250.00 when they were first marketed.

I had a Uniden version of the same radio that cost $275.00 that had more
features might look
around for one of those.

Lorentzson-

I purchased one several months ago, and there may still be some left in a few
stores. They are the HTX-10, Radio Shack Catalog Number 19-1110. Most stores
can check other store inventories through their computers, and either tell you
where to go or have it shipped there.

I don't recall what I paid. At one time it was about $79, but was probably
marked down even further. The latest price should still be in the Radio Shack
computer system, even if the radios are no longer available.

Service information is available at
http://www.albrecht-electronic.de/se...urfunk/AE485S/. The HTX-10 is
apparently derived from the Albrecht model AE-485S.

By the way, it isn't all mode, as it doesn't have CW. There are some mods for
it on the web, including something about adding CW, but I haven't tried it.
(The old HTX-100 had CW but I don't think it had FM.)
