Hi folks.. Have a Regency HR-2A that I want to re-crystal for packet
use, but don't have the manual, and therefore do not have the formula
for calculating the frequency of the receive and transmit crystals for
desired frequency of operation. Could anyone out there help with this
info? Hamfest coming up this weekend and I'd like to shop for
crystals. Also, is there a .PDF of the manual available anywhere?
I've searched the web and there are plenty of folks who'll sell me a
photocopy of the manual for anywhere from $15.00 to $25.00, but to be
honest, that would exceed the value of the radio... Any help would be
greatly appreciated...

But you asked this question back in November here, and got some answers.
If that wasn't enough, people have asked about the crystal frequencies
before, I know I found them at the time you asked back in November.
Go to http://www.groups.google.com and do some searching by yourself.

Thanks for the help, Mike.. But I BELIEVE my question regarding this
radio back in November regarded why the channel selector displayed the
number 1-6, and then letters A-F. Regardless... if I HAD asked about
crystal frequencies, and if I HAD received the answer, you can be
assured I would NOT have reposted the question in this forum. So it's
obvious that if I HAD posted the question, I did NOT receive the
information.

Have a freakin' fantastic day, eh.
