Have a Regency HR-2A that I want to re-crystal for packet
use Raymond- Receive crystals are in the 45 MHz range, series resonant minus a few Hz, (Fr - 10.7)/3. There is no adjustment, so you must replace the crystal if it is too far off frequency. The stock IF filter is fairly broad. Transmit crystals are in the 6 MHz range, parallel resonant, about 20 pf, there is a trimmer capacitor. One of the guys around here put one on packet and claimed good results. 73, Fred, K4DII |

I printed it out, just to make sure I don't **** off MIchael again... Hopefully I can return the favor some time!
