That is the nice thing about ham radio, it has something to offer everyone, the QRP guys who use one watt of RF, and the rabid contest guys who enjoy the rough and tumble competition. Even something to offer the moon-bounce guys, who can now contact other hams almost a half-world away using UHF rigs and parabolic antennas. Hmm, I wonder how the FCC keeps those hams from frying a regular communications satellite with their strong moon-bounce signals. Mark |
