Yep...there is NO WAY to even compare the Ft90R and the TM-G707A..one is a
"peach"..the other is a compost heap....Eddie

The TM-G707A is what I use. I've owned 3 of them as a matter of fact. None
of the broke, I just got rid of the other two at various times to try

other
radios, but I've gone back to the 707 in the car.

Y'all need to work on reading comprehension when you get back from spring
break. There are better rigs than the FT-90, some even made by Yaesu, but
they are TOO BIG! A TM-G707A is 1.6 inches wider, a half inch thicker and
over 2 inches longer than a FT-90!! If space weren't a problem I'd opt for
full power rigs like ICOM's IC-208H that offers a full 50 W on 70CM or one
of YAESU's true dual banders, or whatever; but it is so ....
