Default Kenwood TM-G707a program problem/bug

I downloaded the Memory Control Program for the 707a from Kenwood. It
has, what is for me, a severe limitation or bug. The program refuses
to accept any frequency above 469.995 thus forcing me to manually
program every memory channel. (I monitor frequencies around 486 MHz.)
I wrote to Kenwwod support who confirmed the problem, but they left me
to believe that they will not be rewriting the software.

Does anyone know of any 3rd party software for this unit or if there's
work-around?

With thanks,

Frank.
