Yaesu FT90R expanded receive?

Yaesu FT90R expanded receive?

I know about holding down the up/down buttons to swap between
2m/70cm-only and expanded coverage. Now, is there any way to remove
the gaps so receive coverage goes straight from 100 - 999.975, minus
cellular, of course?
