Default Kenwood Service

Have Rx problems with the VHF side of my old Kenwood TM-733 and looking for
suggestions on a good service shop. Preferably in the eastern half of the
U.S. Anyone have experience with the Kenwood ServiceCenter in Virginia?

Tnx,

Al, W2JUV

Over the past years, I have heard nothing, but good, about AVVID. I
have never used them, but wanted to add a positive comment.

I am friends with the fellow that owns Kenwood Service Center East.

It is located in Virginia Beach VA off of Lynhaven Parkway. He is a really
cool Ham and if you have problems, he will help you himself, although it may
take a while for him to get back to you. In addition to his work with that
franchised service center, he is in the Coast Guard Reserve and was called
up a year ago so he spends a lot of time in Norfolk as an east coast
communications specialist with the Guard.

Chuck Ripple (WA4HHG) and his people will treat you right.
