I myself would not have done business with someone with only three feedbacks for the $ 1,000 + test gear unless the buyer wired my money to the bank directly so there would be a paper trail. If he says no then fine. I've been using the ebay for four years and not one gotten burned, always try to deal with established sellers. Both parties should set terms and conditions which they are comfortable with. Do not depend on "the system" to protect you, but make certain there is a paper trail for the transaction, and keep a log of every step along with papers, and a record of all facts, numbers, etc. If anything about the transaction makes you queasy, reconsider dealing with them.
