I am looking for the above board for either the R-71 or R-71A
receiver. It is for receiving 2 meters in the unit.

The FM unit EX-257 only provides FM in the current frequency range of
the R-71 / A It does not add 144 to 148 MHz or any more frequency
range to the receiver.
So the best it will do for you is let you listen to 10 meter FM on the
R-71 / A
