What makes you think he reads any of these replies?

I would think it a reasonable compromise that auction postings be done
in a consistent way, so that others can choose to read, or choose not
to read them, using automated filters.

If that doesn't work, the newsgroup policy might have to be changed to
ban them completely. While the newsgroup might accept an occasional
For Sale or For Auction posting from a private individual, the
quantity from this poster would suggest a business enterprise.

Happy trails,

Several of us have tried to get him to stop changing his postings to
avoid our filters. The idea of the filters is so we dont have to see
all the Ebay listings.

That makes sense.

One might wonder if someone so inconsiderate is a good choice to do
business with.
