Default 6-meter 1kW amplifier modules

I have several 1kW television transmitter modules that will work fine on
6 meters.

A full write up and pictures are available here.
http://www.gemoto.com/LarcanPA.htm

These are the "low-split" modules that do not require any further
modification.

With some work, these amplifiers will produce well over 1kW on 2 meters.

RF input and DC input connectors are included but other parts are needed
to get operational. DC power supply 50V @ 50A, RF coaxial relays,
cooling fans, etc. Some assembly required.

Price as per the web page above, $370 plus packing and shipping from
Nova Scotia, Canada. Total cost approx $455 - $470. Proceeds of the
sale go towards my ham club.

Contact info on my original ad on QRZ.

I'm not sure that they are legal for sale in the USA due to the fact that they are not Part 97 / Part 15 approved and due to the fact that any amateur in the USA marketing amplifiers has to be tested and approved when ever they try to make and or sell more then 3 amplifiers per a year.

Technically the VHF band amplifiers are more legal then the HF amplifiers due to the fact that the FCC worries that they might be opened up for use on the 11 meters band, which is very illegal.

The CB linear amplifier people has the worst reputation due to the fact that you can almost do a Back To the Future trick - put some old clock parts in a box and sell it to those stupid CB'rs and the first time they hook it up, it blows up, does not work, or has so much spatter that it's not useful. and when it does blow up - you can't send it back or complain because it is illegal to own and there isn't any legal authority to complain to to file suit to get your money back. So basically this is the reason that all amplifier manufacturers in the USA has to be approved and licensed to manufacture and sell amplifiers in the USA and all amplifiers sold in the USA for amateur use has to meet certain standards to be type approved.
