Default Help on Icom 761

My 761 is in lock position, Ive reset, pulled battery out, and tried
everything I can think of, stillthe lock lite stays on and it wont move
in VFO position..freq input , OK... Any ideas? and who is working on
ICOM these Days? Avvid quit here in Texas, and MTS is down for
October...Any help would be appreciated..thanks , Murray

Well, if it's stuck on 3.865 then you're golden, just sell it! You could
probably get several hundred over market due to that 'rare' extra feature.
har-har....

Seriously though... did ya check to see if the button is stuck? Membrane,
carbon or mechanical switch? Have you mechanically removed/cleaned the
switch? I've seen switches stick in the faceplate due to film/buildup/etc.
Just a thought, I'm no radio tech...

good luck and post the problem if you get it fixed.
