I have someone that uses 144.260 he calls "ssb".
I dont know if I have this cabibility.
I have an icom radio about 3 years old.

We'll get our crack mind-reading team right on it.
Once the spirits have given us the model number, we'll get back to you.

Who needs a model number? It either has a mode switch or it doesn't! That
was already stated and is "enuff said".

this cabibility. I have an icom radio about 3 years old. It is an entry
level I think. I can tune to 144.260. Does this mean I can talk on SSB?

Uh oh. I've got a Yaesu here that does SSB and a couple of other modes
and....no mode switch. You gotta get there from within the menu.
