Several years ago I bought one from a ham that makes them himself. Really
good quality, reasonable price and he engraves your callsign on the top of
the case. Does anybody know if he still does these and if so do you have
his contact info? Thanks for reading. - John

Actually, he asked how the mod was performed.
If the modifier did it the easy way, s/he clipped one lead of the
diodes and pulling them up from the board. If that's the case, the
process to reverse it will be a snap.

Sorry Glen. My error. I was forgetting the vintage of the radio and was
thinking SMA diodes instead of axial lead ones. With the SMAs, they are
usually removed due to difficulty in lifting one end only. The 735 most
likely does have those diodes sitting there.... one ended.
