I have some friends that have a few of these Atlas 210/215
transceivers, all with the same problem, which is noticable nowadays with all the PLL frequency controlled radios on the air. they said these radios have no RIT. but in SSB mode, on 40 or 75 meters, after tuning to a frequency to the stations there, then going to transmit, then their Atlas radios shift in frequency about 150 Hertz. is there a cure to fix this this problem on these radios that I can pass along to these people?? |

150 hz is not much drift for these radios sounds like they are working
like designed. Hi,
I would have your friends check to make sure the jumpers on J4 the ext. osc. plug are installed. There should be a jumper between 2&3 and between 5&6. I bought a 210X from a friend of mine and he told me to make sure if I was going to use it on SSB to put the jumpers in. He was using it on some digital mode which at the momnet I can't remember. Hope this helps. 73 Larry WA9VRH wrote in message oups ..com...
