When I was talking to the Yaesu tech about the AM transmit problem
with my FT-991 I asked him for 991's cat codes. It is well known that
programs such as WSPR need to be able to control the radio with CAT/CI-V.

I was told that Japan had not relesed the CAT codes for the 991.
Incredibly, he said Japan might never release the CAT codes.

If true, this is a deal breaker.

Yaesu recently posted a twenty page FT-991 CAT manual.
