What do you consider expensive? Icom - I can barely Monitor - you get what you paid for! You should have known that it was a POS before you bought it. Hey, guess what? ICOM did the exact same thing with the 746 PRO. A recall that would have cost them a couple of thousand dollars, but would have did a lot to fix the collateral damage that they did when they never admitted that there was a problem in the first place and quietly walked away, changed the design and the model number and brought it right back again in a different looking package. The 756 is nothing but an over-glorified CB radio. It attracts those that are attracted to different colored lights and blinking displays! The cool factor - you got what you paid for! You might have just as well bought a new Galaxy from Redmans CB shop - with the peek n tune. Lord knows you got to have a dead key and swing and LOUD audio.. Next time buy a Kenwood TS 590 - they don't have all these problems!
