I see a number of Kenwood TS-570D models on eBay and it usually seems
like the person selling the unit ( usually from an estate etc ) can't tell if is the G model or has been upgraded to the G model. Is there some menu setting or some means where I could question the seller first to see if indeed it is the G model or has been upgraded to the D(G) model before placing a bid ? IIRC Kenwood originally came out with the TS-570D, then they improved the DSP and called it the TS-570D(G) model. I'm inquiring about the 160-10 meter version not the S series which I think includes 6 meters. Thanks in advance. 73 Gary K8IQ |

Push the BC button to turn it on. Now push and hold it in. If it chirps at
you, it is the G. |
