Recommendations for a used VHF/UHF base radio?

Can anyone make a recommendation for a used rock solid reliable
dual-band base radio?

You see, I like my radios to last forever. And when they do break for
them to be repairable (repair cost not exceeding the value of the radio).

Did Ten-Tek ever make a VHF/UHF radio?
