One word of caution. After using it for months my child bride found the
impedence of her Butternut had changed after a hard rain and readjusted her
tuner to compensate. A tad later she found a weak station she wanted to
contact and turned on her amplifier. A few moments into the QSO the SWR went
nuts and she fried a final. Dropping power she found that the tuner settings
were again back to normal. We continued to use the 'nut for several weeks
then sold it without the problem reoccuring.

I can only guess that the capacitors on the 'nut had filled with rain,
changing the antenna impedence, then dried out when a KW was applied. YMMV
