I would like to be able to transmit on:
6 meter, 2 meter, 1.25 meter, and 70cm bands (more would, of course, be nice), but I am willing to sacrifice some of them to get the digital trunking support. Thanks, Brad |

You can get a Kenwood THF6....covers 2/220/440 xmit.....and all
mode/coverage on rcv...for P25, you would have to use an external decoder... but that wont get you trunking....There are few if any scanners that cover P25 trunking right now... what you want does not exist in one package. wrote in message oups.com... Do any single HTs exist that can transmit on all of those bands? I've seen tri-band HTs, but not any quad-banders ... As for the trunk tracking, what you might want to do is find a amateur radio transceiver that does most of what you need, and a digital trunk tracking scanner that does what you want, and then use this high-tech tool -- http://www.fortune3.com/~comp66570/44382228.jpg to merge the functionality of the two into one. Yaesu VX-7R, according to their brochure. (I'm a brand new ham, so have
just gotten done researching which HT I want to buy. This one is in the running...) "Doug McLaren" wrote in message ...
