Hello All.
I have an ICOM IC706MKII and occasionally the receive & transmit drops
way down. I can still hear strong stations and they might hear me but
very weak on both (TX & RX).
It does not do it all the time. It just went all winter without a
problem but has now cut out (or down) twice in the past week or two.
The rig works fine otherwise.
Any one else have or hear of this problem? Any suggestions as to the
cause?

just fishing has the weather changed suddenly with any corelation to
the problem sound vauguely like a condensation from humidiy change or
something like creating short i have no idea where the IC 706 is
subject to that but i have soe such problem in the past with radios
