Default IMMATURITY On 14.275 Mhz. USB

Hi everyone:

Is it just me or has there been a tremendous amount of immature 11
meter-like activity on 14.275 Mhz USB??

I say this because I can hear it with my ICOM IC-706 MKII-G and
my mega-cheapo coathanger setup that I threw together which is plugged
directly into the back of the radio.

Even when there have been legit QSOs on there, some a--hole Or a group
of a--holes for all I know) would find some excuse to get on that freq.
(or very close to it) and cause malicious QRM.

If these are licensed Hams, then they deserve to lose their licences.
If they're bootleggers, I just hope they've got an IRA or two 'cause
they'll need it to pay off the FCC.

To give you an example of what I've been hearing, I've heard just about
anything and everything ranging from silly PC-originated sound effects
to (Not even a half hour ago now) old Rocky & Bullwinkle clips.

If this is old hat to you old timers on the HF bands, then please
excuse this post (I'm fully aware of the mess known as 14.313 BTW).
Hopefully Riley Hollignsworth is monitoring over there and is taking
action.

If i can, I'll do a short video or two sometime (I'd rather do a video
as then people will actually see what freq. the radio is tuned to as
the cam will show it) with my Logitech QuickCam STX as its got a pretty
good built-in mic so I don't need to stretch a long cord to plug to the
line in jack. I'll then either send them to Riley via email or put
them on a live page on my website for THE WHOLE WORLD to see and hear.

Gee....That's not a bad idea. Maybe if a few potty mouthed Hams found
themselves on some Ham's website in a negative light, they just might
change their ways beforeRilley catches them. ;D

Then again, if they're anything like K1MAN, they probably wouldn't even
notice....

Anyhow...Just wanted to post a heads up for those of you who haven't
been listening.

Cheers & 73
