Does anyone know how to get this radio into the alognment mode?


I have a copy of the technicial supplement and I have the knowlege
and access to the test equipment necessary to realign the radio,
However, I have not been sucessful in geting the radio to go into the
alignment mode.

I tried to place the radio into alignment mode as described in the
technicial supplement but it will not work. When I hold in the MHZ[PRI]
and Hyper Memory [5] keys and turn the power on the radio displays
F-1 in the upper left corner and SETRST in the display. [According to
the operators manual this is supposed to happen if you hold in the
MHZ[PRI] key while turning on the power] The next step in the manual
is to press each function key in order, left to right, starting with
MHZ[PRI] and ending with S.SCH[ARTS} then press and hold the [88]
key until "A-0 REF.xxH" appears in the display.
Pressing these buttons as indicated and holding the [88] key in causes
the radio to beep once after about 1/2 second.
But the display does not change from F-1 SETRST

I sure would like to hear from someone who has been able to get thier radio
to go into the alignment mode.
