Recommend a Yaesu VX 6 upgrade antenna
Check out the Diamond SRH320A. I have one and really like it. Does transmit on all 3 VX-6 bands plus offers very good receive on six other bands such as public service, aircraft band, etc. Transmit antenna is 1/4 WL on 2 and 220, 1/2 WL on 430. 35 cm tall, very light, flexible, well finished. Somewhat pricier than others, but looks like it will last forever. SMA connector. Craig AC0DS |
