The most user friendly program is at www.n3fjp.com
It's a great program, user friendly (don't even really need to read the
help
files to get started), automatically checks for duplicates, allows
monitoring the online DX clusters if you are so inclined, allows rig
control
if you are so inclined, allows keying the radio from the computer if you
are
so inclined, creates Cabrillo files for contest submission and adif files
for importing into general logging programs. There's other neat features
but that's a good start. It is also quite inexpensive.

There's a downside to the N3JFP logger Dee - the country files
(CTY.DAT) are only irregularly updated and I haven't found a way to
update them before each contest via AD1C's service.

However, it is often a good choice for the person who has never used contest
software before due to its intuitive interface. All the other software that
I have experimented with takes time to get familiar with.
